Skype is an excellent application for your computer(Windows,Mac, Linux),phone (Android, iPhone, Symbian) and TV (Panasonic and Samsung). Not only does it let you make a conference call (Three or more people) but on the newest version of skype (version 5.5) it’s great to catch up regularly with members of the family wherever they are! Of course you have to pay, but you can go to the skype website (www.skype.com) and get a free 7 day trial. After your trial has expired, you must buy some skype credit if you want to carry on talking with video on conference calls. You can now also skype from an iPhone to a computer and from a computer to an iPhone as shown on the picture below.
Now, with business, (if you have a Home Office) you can: Use Skype to stay connected to your customers and clients when working from home. You can save money on calls, manage all your business and personal contacts and do more together with video.
Small Business: With Skype you can build your business by working closer with clients, colleagues and suppliers, wherever they are. It’s also a simple way to reduce technology and travel expenses while you grow. Easily set up accounts for employees, allocate them credit and assign Skype’s great features all from one place.

Games are also available on skype, but you must download them with a parent or guardian’s permission. (Games are only available on computers).They are really fun as you can challenge one of your mates on skype if he/she is online by sending them a game request.
If you have skype as the application on your iPhone, you can now access a mini video call to your friends or family. (Available for iPod that has a camera and an internet connection e.g. iPod touch 4th Generation). I think this is an amazing idea from skype because even if you’re not using your laptop or your computer at home, you can still use your iPhone to take anywhere you want to! (Skype facetime requires Wi-fi and iPod/iPhone to function.)
